The Dominican sisters at Katarinahjemmet have a wide range of activities in Norway. Among the areas in which we operate are:
– liturgical life
– student residences and guest houses
– women’s education
– activities for families, young people, and students.
– research in theology and science
– teaching (from parish catechesis to university)
– authorship and translation
– art and music
– socially oriented activities
– dialogue (ecumenical, interreligious, societal)

Donations and gifts
The convent depends on gifts and donations to be able to reach out widely. If you would like to support our important work in Norway, we would be grateful.
All donations and gifts must be sent to the foundation Det Dominikanske Hjem. The foundation is responsible for the sisters’ work in Norway and at Katarinahjemmet.
