Katarinahjemmet offer guest rooms for shorter periods (minimum two nights). Breakfast are available.
We are unfortunately not able to accommodate special dietary requests. We offer ten single rooms and four double rooms, all with balconies and sinks. Showers and toilets are down the hall. As a guest at Katarinahjemmet you are free to use the library. In the library there is Wifi and a personal computer guests may use. The chapel is also at your disposal.
Please note that we are closed during the month of July, for Easter and for Christmas.

How to find us
Gjørstadsgate 9, which is a small cul de sac off Majorstuveien
From the centre of town:
T-bane (underground/Metro) All westbound lines (1, 2, 3, 4 5) to Majorstuen
Trikk (tram) no. 11 from Stortorget/Glasmagasinet to Bostadveien or Tram no 19 from Jernbanetorget/Central Station to Bogstadveien, or Tram no. 12 from Jernbanetorget/Central Station Majorstuen.
On foot from Majorstuen: Walk down Bogstadveien on the right hand side, cross Jacob Aallsgt., Neuberggt and Sorgenfrigt. When you get to Deli de Luca, turn right into the cul de sac. Continue up the concrete staircase. At the top of the staircase and up the path you’ll find Katarinahjemmet on your left.
On foot from Bogstadveien (stop for tram): Walk up Bogstadveien on the right hand side, cross Industrigaten, and then Bogstadveien. Continue up Bogstadveien on the left hand side. When you get to Deli de Luca, turn right into the cul de sac. Continue up the concrete staircase . At the top of the staircase and up the path you’ll find Katarinahjemmet on your left.
By bus from the airport: Get off at the SAS hotel, Holbergs plass, and take a taxi or tram no. 11
By train from the airport: Tram, metro or taxi from Jernbanetorget
